Newbie ? on Activity

okay... I know this may seem like an easy one but I'm really not sure. How active are corn snakes? I know that they stay inside hides for hours on end. I know they "sleep" while digesting their food. Other than that I know that they... um... move... I've had this girl for about a week. When I first introduced her to her new home she seemed very active and explored everything for a few hours. After that first day I've never seen her come out of her hide. She moves in there from time to time but isn't really active outside. Is this normal? Could she be stressed out about her new environment?

I was thinking that it may have something to do with the temperature... anyone have any thoughts... her are my tank temps:
Temp inside the hide: 80-85F
Temp outside on cold side: 75-78F
Temp of glass over UT heater: 85F
