Better luck this year?

Last year I bred a amel het lav pair that I bought from someone who took them in on trade. They were virgins last year and she laid 12 slugs and 3 good eggs the first time and double clutched on her own with 10 slugs and 2 good. I had two hatch from the first clutch, an amel and a snow. Both were non-feeders and were put down after lengthy trails to get them going. The second clutch went bad. The parents were not brumated either and she was only about 360 grams last year at breeding.

Sooo....right now the two are hooked up for the first time this season and I'm hoping for better results. I'm thinking that either they aren't het for lav (but only two babies so far won't tell me that for sure) which would suck, or they are het for lav AND het for anery, which would be awesome. It's always a gamble. They were not brumated this year either, but she is well over 400 grams, probably pushing 500.

Sigh, I would love to see some opals this year, but any healthy babies will be welcome!
