An Old Newbie

After spending almost every day for a year on the other forum, I've stumbled across this one. I'm Billy Wheeler from Memphis, TN. I'm somewhat new to captive bred born corn snakes, but I've kept wild caught snakes since childhood (I'm 58). I've bred and shown fish, birds, cats, and dogs for over 30 years. I'm a retired management consultant with extensive experience in legislative issues concerning the rights of pet owners and breeders. I've also assisted the Cat Fanciers Association in developing a long range plan.

I want to focus on two colors in my corn snakes, pink and purple. To that end I've acquired a pair of hypo (coral) snows, a pair of striped snows, a hypo lavender male and an opal female. My focus on the forum is mostly on genetics and acquainting myself with the variety of interpretations of each morph, but I admitt to being easily distracted by any debate involving the rights of pet owners.

I expect my time on this forum to be etertaining and enlightening.
