Congrats! I may have to try the muzzle. I've also heard to make sure the kings are stuffed to the gills with food so they won't be thinking about it. I think I'll try both. A muzzle on a snake, how funny!

I will show pics later, but basically I took a piece of paper towel tubing & made it into a cone shape with a bit of a hole at the tip & used electrical tape to tape it on. She really didn't appreciate it, but neither me or my corn got bit (she's not terribly tame). I let a female corn run around in there with them & after many many times trying to get the cali (b/c I wouldn't let the corn tail any where nears his) I finally took the corn out & he wooed her with his cornly ways. He had some trouble b/c she has a scar (I assume from one or more bad sheds) around her tail & he kept trying to enter there instead of up where he should be.
I don't think the male cali was giving the female corn "love bites"; her whole head was in his mouth, snout first & it was a quick snatch, not a gentle(ish) grab like he did with the female cali's neck.
