Thanks for everyone's input. I didn't feel that the tape was a risk at all--it's not sticky enough to cause any harm.
Was the cali stressed? Yes, but so was my corn when she bit his head. I wanted to try something new & felt the "muzzle" was a way to keep me and my corn safe without hurting the kingsnake.
As far as being natural, I don't think captive snake breeding in general is natural.
I don't feel what I did was abusive, but if a lot of other people do then maybe I am wrong? More opinins are welcome!
