Well, I had hoped to post this sooner, but things have been a touch hectic here with Pearl's prolapse and subsequent near egg-binding. I say near becaue for a few days it didin't look as if they were going to move on thier own.
ANYway, we sold off the last of the snakes that we were hoing to trim from the collection, bringing us down to under 70 snakes in the house now, uh.. not counting the ones that'll be hatching out in a few months of course. But we're not going to discuss the leap to triple digits right now.
ANYwho... on Mother's Day, after delivering the two sub-adults to their new keeper, we trucked on over to Amazon Reptiles to browse through the store and it was while we were looking at the corns, kings, milks, and KSBs that I found and fell in love with on particular female (the only female KSB they had). I know she's nothing really spectacular and that the more yellowish KSBs aren't as sought after as the orange (flames or whatever they are called - hey, I'm still learning the morphs! lol)
But she is SO sweet and has a whomping good appetite! So without further delay, here is Chickadee, the new squishie in the house:

I luv her and the kids are still fighting to stake half a claim on both her and Magpie - but I don't listen to thier pleas.
Thanks for looking! Next snake: Er.. hopefully some pippies, but I'll settle for a sweet looking genetically awsome male KSB...
Jenn

(fishin' for more snakes?)
