Here's my favorite Sunkissed of all time, "Strong Bad". This photo is really showing that weird yellow coloration that some sunkisseds get in the saddles as they age. The big boy is full-sized now, and beautiful.
"Strong Bad", adult Sunkissed male (Tested non-carrier for star gazing.)
Here's "Shere Khan" peering from her hide, stalking her frozen-thawed meal, and the quick snatch-and-grab back to the hide.
"Shere Khan" is from a pairing of Okeetee het sunkissed x Sunkissed and seems to have gotten the sunkissed pattern without the sunkissed hypo portion of the morph. Time and test-breeding will tell what's going on...is sunkissed a couple genes tightly linked that happened to get split off here?
Her first test-cross will be to "Sir", a known het star-gazer, to test her star-gazer carrying status. Her mother is a known het, so she is 50% possible het star gazing. This cross will give us some insignt to the makeup of the sunkissed gene (or genes) as well as testing her out for star-gazing.
This last gal is a yearling Okeetee named "Halley". She is 67% possible het star-gazing (from a clutch that produced gazers). She will be tested to Sir as well, to find out if she will be a good tester animal to clear males possible het star-gazing.
