Are boas like corns, do you think, in that if they are handled more, they become more docile, or does it just depend on their disposition?

Well, Boas are great animals, but they are strong...even as babies. And they have some nasty teeth. I have been bitten by Bubba a few times and unlike corns, these guys tag every time they strike. And they always draw blood. But yes, just like with corns, the more you handle them, the more docile/used to being handled they become. Bertha is big, about 4 to 5 feet now, and she is a monster when it comes to strength. she wrapped around my arm/shoulder last night when one of the kids ran by and spooked her, and I thought my shoulder was going to dislocate. But they are great animals and very fun to handle.
Good luck in getting yours.
