Messing with the natural day/night cycle

We've recently had a smart meter installed ( new hydro meter... info Smart Meters )

Along with the smart meter comes 3 tiered hydro costs. We will be billed different rates for different times of the day. Off peak hours are cheapest, then peak, then high peak. Hours for the summer are: 10pm-7am ( off peak ) 7-11am ( high peak) 12pm-5pm ( mid peak) 5pm-8pm ( high peak) 8-10pm ( mid peak)

The prices are going to be substantially different between high peak and off peak. Ex. 9.5cents for high peak times, 3.2 cents for off peak times.

That said, I think you know what I'm leading up to.

Giving my snakes heat during the night instead of daytime. ( my snakes are on timers, they get supplementry heat for approx 8 hrs a day).

Does anyone see a problem with doing this?
