When we got back from vacation everyone was talking about this guy that landed a 73 lb blue catfish from a local river. Pretty good I thought, I never saw the news articles and never heard his name.
But when my aunt and uncle came to visit my parent's house on Saturday and we happened to be there, we found out it was my uncle who had landed the whopper.
Sunday was Matthew's birthday and my mom was fixing dinner for him, and my aunt and uncle were invited over. They brought some of the meat from the catfish and grilled it, delicious is all I can say. It had texture more like halibut, and didn't taste a thing like catfish usually does.
So I can officially say, I ate part of it.
