Egg Cam for 2008 has gone LIVE!

After a bit of a struggle getting it set up, the new 2008 CCCorn's Egg Cam is ONLINE!

The picture is bigger and clearer than previous and we'll be able to get some mpegs of the good action posted for those that miss the day(s) of pipping.

1st up on the Egg Cam is our first clutch of 2008 out of Flake x Tiger. They are due sometime around February 10th, give or take.

The camera has the ability to stream video, but unfortunately the number of people that access the page would blow up our webhost's server, so as before, it's on autorefresh. Luckily snakes don't pip that fast. It'll make for some nice movies, though.

Keep in mind, the eggcam page is set to refresh as fast as the FTP does for now, so manually refreshing more quickly does not increase number of images, just uses up bandwidth, so please refrain from rapidly manually refreshing. It won't do any good.

(We may get the page set up for the viewer having the ability to select their preferred refresh rate, but for now it's set every 10 seconds.)
