Thought I would post a few updated pics of some different rootbeers. Not dramatic coloration but I love the subtle look of these guys -
These three are first generation emoryi X creamsicle - now 3 years old and will be bred for the first time in 2007 - very consistent clutch. I have not seen an emoryi cross with pronounced saddle borders and think this is something that is characteristic of emoryi crosses. These show a very distinctive brownish coloration, no hint of red or even orange in them. The creamsicles that arise from these will be very interesting and they are possible het hypo too. Lighter background in the male - wonder if that is similar to cleaner coloration in other morphs in males?

In contrast this rootbeer is from a creamsicle bred to a sunkissed hypo corn. He has a really full belly here (just fed) but is a very bright orange snake - again minimal saddle borders - is this an influence of the het hypo? or from some residual emoryi influence. Looking forward to when this guy is old enough to breed.
thanks for looking,
