Yeah, I can't honestly say if I'm saddened or happy with this clutch containing gazers. I'd say it's probably a bit of both.

Sad to have afflicted hatchlings (though they seem perfectly happy, just wobbley), but so very valuable to have an adult pair of known S-factored snakes and so very valuable to have specimens to submit for pathological examination. I need to make some "calls" down to Florida's vet school path department. We'll see what the totals are on this clutch to see if I'll try to raise up some of the bigger, eating ones.
