optimal humidity

Looking for advice on what the best humidity is for my corn snake. I maintain a good temp gradient (75 cool end - 86 warm end)
Currently, my hygrometer reads 62 percent which is placed in the center of my 10 gallon vivarium. My snake shed a few days ago and she shed in several pieces, so I am wondering if my humidity was too low.
Also, should I be misting everyday. I never notice my snake going into the water dish. I also place moistened moss around the outside of her water dish.
