We have a kitten that is a little new to things, including house manners but we have two cornsnakes that she enjoys watching. Last night we were soaking our largest Corn's tale since she has some skin that didn't come off and when we asked the local herp club they said to try and soak it. She is very laid back and calm typically. The cat decided to go nose to nose with her, which we shooed her away so that the snake wouldn't get hurt. Well, the cat came back and once again got almost licking distance away. Next thing I know, keep in mind I am holding the snake, she strikes at the cat and gets her on the nose. I have not seen that little cat fly back so fast, it was very funny. The snake went back to acting as though nothing happened at all. We had heard of another guys snake, not a corn doing a similar thing with a cat and a similar reaction but he said it wa hilareous as well. If we only had a video camera at the right time. LOL.
