I don't know, I don't see anything in the original post that's nearly as dramatic as the second. Sorry Misty, but to me the original post doesn't seem to disagree with any of the points you made... He said it could be a normal, what it is is unknown, but it's developing color.
To me it looks like Tim has resolved on waiting on testing before calling it anything. Until then, I think he has the right to post pics of the animal without being accused of being dramatic.
Maybe there is stuff going on I don't know about, but you know me. I don't take sides and just like to add my viewpoint.
And my viewpoint is... I came to this forum to get away from drama. *shrug* It there is more to it, perhaps it would have been better addressed via email.
It's at least a purdy snake.
