...to the Slitherhood of Gaia. One of my co-workers told her husband that someone she works with has cornsnakes. He had a friend in Florida who had some and he liked them. So when his wife (my co-worker) tells him about me, he says he wants one. This is a man who never says he wants anything. Of course my co-worker gets excited, too, and is doing her research online and taking notes from me. She is the most informed new snake owner I've ever met. She won't get any animal unless she knows the ins and outs of its nature and care. Now she's telling me its her snake (I have to laugh) and she wants a white one (she's not interested yet in the genetics) and she wants a second one already at some point. She's bought the aspen, the log, the cave, etc. and is ready to go. She and her husband are coming over today to look at a few that I have available. I'm selling her a 35 gal tank with UTH and lid (she only needs to buy the clips) and a snake. I'm thrilled that she and her husband are learning so much and are joining the cult of snakes. They'll be back for more!
