(I'm going to use Christin
a's great idea for intro. as I'm not good at it personally - thx!

)
Name: Cheryl
Age: 31 and loving it!
Location: Southern Manitoba
Family: Great hubby named Rich (who also has an anery, but I'll get to that), I recently gained guardianship of my niece who has come to live with me (with her father's agreement) to straighten herself out and finish school - she's a great kid and I love her to pieces - it's just a shame she can't get along with her dad... but hey that's life.
Also - 1 dog, 3 cats & 1 emperor scorpion / 1 leopard gecko (neice's)
Work or school : I'm a divisional librarian for the province. Boring paperwork, but for some strange reason I enjoy it...?
About me: Here's where it gets hard... <scratches head>... Basically, I'm pretty easy to get along with and have been told I have a 'sunny' personality. I have my moments too.. where I stick my foot in my mouth by saying something stupid, but that's about it. I have little tolerance for people who are nasty to others and am usually the first to step up and defend (which sometimes then gets me in a bit of a spot, but hey...). I'm a pisceas and I'm told they crave 'peace and tranquility'...

... personally, I just like it when everyone gets along.
My Cornsnake Story:
To tell the truth, I had never considered owning a snake until I started looking at them when I bought my husband his emperior scorpion. Even then, I still just looked at them and think, hey that would be neat, but not right now.
We found my corn in August of this year in the backyard of a friend's place. After catching and taking a picture of it (I think it's a she...) the fellow at our local pet store told us we had an albino corn snake. I immedialy fell in love! After checking for any "lost snakes" posters in the area and with the humane society, I adopted her into our home. I named her Luna and I still marvel every day at what an amazing creature she is. My husband also fell in love with Luna and as luck would have it, there was a reptile/snake expo coming to our city. We came home with an anery hatchling (AJ - short for Aries Jr.) purchased from Ruth Hanney. We had a bit of a (new parent worry) at the start as AJ was stubborn and wouldn't feed, but he finally did and is doing great now! Thanks Ruth for your support! I know my husband felt much better after your emails.
So now we're one big happy family! I call us the 'Brady Bunch from H*ll'... lol Friends tell us we should charge admission to our house now!
I can't say I know everything about corns, but I'm learning!
Looking forward to chatting with everyone,
c/
