Whhooo! Mu turn! My turn!

Chusi was really in the rush but a bit fool too.

She is laying eggs as we speak! Already 12 and she still have probably 4-6 inside her. But she does not understand the laying box concept. So she went UNDER it and laid her first batch... a good thing I went to check on her even if I never thought she would lay that soon. Now she just want to lay the rest on the aspen. So since I am working tonight, my husband will check her before going to bed and remove the eggs that she would have laid and I will remove the rest tomorrow. Hopefully they will all be ok.

The pairing is Chusi X Sike (Hypo striped X sunkissed) Whhoo!

Congrats! Those females sure can have their little quirks. I had one last year did the same thing...absolutely refused her laybox, she'd rest in it, but chose to lay her eggs underneath.

Now you can be as impatient for those pippies as the rest of us...

Thanks guys. She finally layed 19 eggs! Whhoo. All outside her box though LOL. Had to visit her every couple of hours to remove the eggs before they would dry. They all seems ok for now.

At least the other girls who are in shed right now, understand the purpose of this big transparent box full of vermiculite hehe. Got 5 of them right now in shed.
