I just finished this one tonight. I need to make 2 others like this. I can put 170 babies per rack. It is more straight than it seems lol. This one is already full and I already have another 80-100 babies waiting for me to make a second one...

Someone asked what I used for the water dish. Here is 2 of those I use. The square one are from the dollars store. They are 8 for 1$. I also keep all the little fruit compote containers but since they are a bit too high, I need to cut the rim of them. Here are pics with and without it. I also need to cut, in both containers, a small half circle because these container goes up to the lid. This way they can't bowl over them.

Man, THAT is a bunch of babies.........and you still have two more to build for hatchlings and another one for adults? You really do have a snake motel going on.
Everything looks organized and easy access come feeding time. I do have one question though...........do you have paper stuck to the side or something to write down "who is who" or "what is what"? I have to try to remember which is which when I feed my two motley's.......I can't imagine trying to remember all of them.
Good job again.

Thanks for the tip on cutting a small "dip" into the water cups. I used small plastic Dixie-type cups, and cut them down to the bottom ring. Those #%@^ hatchlings still swamped themselves half the time..LOL.
Next year, when I get back into breeding...going to try your trick ! <G>

I think I'm going to embroider this saying on a pillow.."Happiness is a full hatchling rack." I think that's a great looking rack! Do you know about how much it cost to build?
