An ovulation question

Not sure how to put this.

When a corn ovulates and starts forming eggs, how long do you have to introduce a male in order for fertalization to occur?

Here's my situation:

I was cleaning cages yesterday, and noticed that Takara is full of eggies. I can feel them. She has never bred as I did not think she'd reach a good size for this season.... apparantly she has decided otherwise.

Since she's bulging with eggs, is it now too late for a male to fertalize them? ( she shed over the weekend..... based on how much I can feel the eggs, I'd guess this was her prelay shed)

Thanks for any insight.
