I'm pretty sure I have an Opal hatchling in this bunch, but I've never hatched an opal before. Please let me know what you guys think.
Another hatchling looks like a snow cube stripe, but the pattern is very faint. I should be able to get better pics after they shed for the first time. I super sharpened & tweaked the contrast on the snow cube to try to get the pattern in better detail....
The parents:
Male = Amelanistic het. Anery, het. Lavender, het. Stripe
Female = Snow, het. Lavender, het. Stripe
Offspring predicted as:
---------------------------------------------------
28.13% Amelanistic (het. Anerythristic, 66% poss. het. Lavender, 66% poss. het. Stripe)
28.13% Snow (66% poss. het. Lavender, 66% poss. het. Stripe) 9.38% Opal (het. Anerythristic, 66% poss. het. Stripe)
9.38% Snow, Lavender (66% poss. het. Stripe)
9.38% Amelanistic, Stripe (het. Anerythristic, 66% poss. het. Lavender)
9.38% Snow, Stripe (66% poss. het. Lavender) 3.13% Opal, Stripe (het. Anerythristic) <-- oh baby!!
3.13% Snow, Lavender, Stripe
The clutch started hatching yesterday & there are still 3 more which should be out tomorrow. One is a snow & another is an opal I think. The last has not peeked out of the egg slit yet.
