I'm happy
Well I didn't want to post the day Dorothy laid eggs, as she stayed in the lay box. She laid on 5/22, Tuesday, she was still in box on Thursday, refused food and went straight back into lay box. Once I really opened my eyes I realized she was going into 'blue', being new at this first time, breeding first eggs... I was nervous. She said today, perfect shed. Headed for the water dish as she was shedding drank a lot, looked back at the box as if to say good ridence!!!
Jen P. is incubating eggs and posted a pic of them, she gets 'pick of the litter' !! So anyway here is Dad, Mom and nine big and beautiful eggs .gif "Celb (7)") . enjoy, susan |
