Well, yesterday afternoon I came home to see my new female amel laying eggs. She was bred to my male normal on April 19th. I waited until this morning to take out the eggs. There were maybe 5 good and 5 bad. She is a big snake and I am pretty sure that she has more in her.
I put the eggs that are good or almost okay in this vermiculte I got at a garden store. it is different than the kind most of you use and the kind I used for my first clutch. I have a picture of it, and was wondering if any of you think this will be fine. It soaks up the water and sort of clumps but it probably keeps it humid.
Hopefully the girl will pass the rest of the eggs just fine.
