Hello,
My female amel hasnt eaten in 3 weeks for some odd reason so I figured I'd start brumation tom. I want to breed her this spring as long as she's eating good and gains some weight. It'll be my first time so I have a couple of questions. The first being, is it ok to brumate this winter and breed in the spring even though she's having trouble right now? If she's ok in March and eats so she gains some weight she should be fine right? Also, I know there is a post-brumation shed, but how many times will she shed before I need to put the nest box in? Is there just one or two? If anyone's in the state of NJ im looking for owners if this all pulls through. So just an offer. I still have to get through my dad on this one. Thanks in advance!
