Looking For Advice Regarding Flabby Female That Was Eggbound Last Year
My female Sangria went into brumation in November weighing 648g. She came out today weighing 657g! For the life of me, I don't understand how it could happen. Everybody else lost a few grams here and there from not eating all winter. This girl was a garbage disposal when she was a baby, and has fatty "hips" now.
She was eggbound last year. She lacked the muscle tone to push her eggs out in a timely manner. She did fine in 2006 and had some beautiful babies but last year not a single egg hatched. She is all recovered now, and took care of it on her own, but the last thing I want is a repeat of last year. I intend to hold her for 30 minutes each day to excercise her but is there anything else I can do to ensure success this year? Has anyone else had this problem, and what did you do for it?
Here she is in all her flabbiness. I could not adjust the color on that last pic, the lighting was all wrong. The other pics are a much more accurate depiction of her real color.
