Well, my corns finally started seeing enough of an increase in daylight to "get in the mood" and I had a few pairings yesterday and today. I was originally gonna keep it real small this year, but heck, I always say that! LOL Anyway, I crossed my big male anery to my creamsicle female to test them both for the other gene. If I get really lucky...I'll get snowcreams on the first go around. I also crossed my male normal het butter mot to a recently aquired female butter. We'll see if she carries the motley gene or not. I also bred my male snow to a female hypo het blood just for giggles. We'll see if I want to keep a pair of those back or not. The anery male and normal het butter mot male will get a recovery day and I plan to pair them up with some other girls and then back to the first girls again just to be sure. The second pairings I have planned are the male anery to a female anery (yes, a very boring pairing but I wanna see how many young will be brown like the male and silver/black like the female) and the male het butter mot will breed a female rootbeer out of Don Soderburg's yellow creamsicle line. And I was only gonna go with 2 breedings this year. Yeah right!
