You will want to get a food that is very high in protein. This will help with the production of babies. Also, one that is high in calcium. I use the Mazuri Rodent chow lab block. This is made by Purina, so you can look at the different Purina foods and pick the one that you want.
ok well so the food i have for my dog should be good enough then i use Nutro Large breed dog food its one of the best foods on the market up here in Canada for dog foods high prot, and also a few extras like glucos, and chond,
glucosamine and chondroiten are destroyed in the baking process, it's a marketing scheme.
Use Mazuri... it's actually formulated for rodents... I was feeding some other chow to my mice for over six months with no babies and as soon as i got them on Mazuri they started producing like crazy

i was wondering if any of you had used Hagen`s Gourmet Rat and Mouse food? has fruit and veggies and seeds and it`s fortified with Nutri-Block. Just wondering your thoughts on this food.
Thanks
