Food for mcie

ok i know a few people breed their own mice and use dog food just wondering what dog foods do you use? or would be best?

You will want to get a food that is very high in protein. This will help with the production of babies. Also, one that is high in calcium. I use the Mazuri Rodent chow lab block. This is made by Purina, so you can look at the different Purina foods and pick the one that you want.

ok well so the food i have for my dog should be good enough then i use Nutro Large breed dog food its one of the best foods on the market up here in Canada for dog foods high prot, and also a few extras like glucos, and chond,

glucosamine and chondroiten are destroyed in the baking process, it's a marketing scheme.

Use Mazuri... it's actually formulated for rodents... I was feeding some other chow to my mice for over six months with no babies and as soon as i got them on Mazuri they started producing like crazy

i was wondering if any of you had used Hagen`s Gourmet Rat and Mouse food? has fruit and veggies and seeds and it`s fortified with Nutri-Block. Just wondering your thoughts on this food.

I use a Gerbil/Hamster mix, mixed with Kashi Grenola ceral, and mouse blocks. I have babies like crazy, and only have two colonies going.

Here is just one of the colonies.

I am a Mazuri lab block gal as well. I prefer the healthiest possible foods for my snakes and the Mazuri is spot on for what I need.

Mazuri? thats forien to me... never even ever heard of it must be somethin only avalible in the states cause i've managed a pet store up here a few years back and never heard of it befor untill now...
