not what i expected to find!

well i go to do my nightly water/feed of all my critters and doing the mice last as usual and i go to clean out the houses as they tend to poop in them lots and well i didnt find poo in one i found these!!

I take it you weren't aware that you had a mixed group or were you just shocked to find the babies in that place?

was just shocked to find babies in that group of mice lol i thought i had picked out all the males and had them in a seperate tanks apparently i got a male with invisable nuts! lol but thats my juvie tank so i wasnt expecting anything from them this soon... lol those mice are only like 2 months old

I've had mice breed as early as 3.5 WEEKS!!! So, yeah, they can breed really young. I've had mice with the invisible ball sydrome too!
