This thread will be to follow my clutches for 2007, meager as they will be. (I cut back to about 1/2 the clutches of last year since I've got so many coming ready next season.)
I will have a post for each clutch and will update each clutch's info as things happen, so this thread will not necessarily be in chronological order.
Hope you enjoy and let the season begin!
The CCCorns Eggcam will be up and running in mid-January with Mattie's eggs coming due. Link provided below in this first post for ease of locating.
This is a pairing of Miss Mattie, my Okeetee het sunkissed female (mother of Shere Khan), to Sir, the 1000 gram Sunkissed male. This is a different pairing than last year, so we'll see what Sir gives us in comparison to what Strong Bad did last season.
Mattie laid 20+ eggs (I get counts of 21 to 25, it's such a tight ball of adhered eggs) on 11-15-06.

Update: Eggs are denting!
This is a pairing of Oiym and Michael, my hets for lava, charcoal, (possibly amel, anery). Due to a heat spike, I was very disappointed to only get 3 1/2 eggs from this pairing as this was the one I was anticipating the most. Thanks, Murphy. They were laid with a bunch of slugs on 11-28-06.
I'm particularly interested in what these guys will throw because their parents are so unique. The Lava they are out of is a deep red and the charcoal they are out of has high contrast and light background for a charcoal, with nice black borders. Should prove interesting in the years to come.
1:16 odds don't look so hot when you've only got 3-4 eggs, but we'll see if we get anything this year. Guess it's also more to look forward to next season.
Another disappointment due to a heat spike. 3 weeks ago or so, Miss Elizabeth started laying slug soup. She laid around 7 eggs worth in volume, more or less, then passed 2 real slugs about the time she entered her post-lay shed. I thought it a total loss, but this week she went on to lay 4 healthy-looking eggs. Go figure.
(Eggs laid 12-18-06)
I'll take it. Here's to finger-crossing that we get some healthy Bairdi this season.
This pairing is of a normal het anery (poss het amel, hypo) x a lavender (het amel). The normal is from my little pattern project that I play with, and I'm testing to see what happens when the lavender Aztec gets thrown in the mix.
This pairing is of a beautifully patterned and colored granite female to a beautifully patterned "Strawberry" motley male. I'm very interested to see if the Strawberry heritage will add a kick to the diffused motleys that will come from this pairing. The patterns should rock, regardless.
This pairing is of my dark, dark pewter female (het anery) to a beautifully patterned "Strawberry" motley male. Starting another line of hets for pewter motley (focus on the good motley pattern).

This is a pairing of two bloodreds het hypo pewter with the goal of hypo pewters and other bloodreds/diffuseds with high hopes of awesome patterns like the kids from last year.
This is the pairing that produced Jameson along with his other beautifully patterned siblings. We'll see what knockouts this pair produces this season!
