Egg Cam 2007 has gone LIVE.

For those of you who know about this...it's baaaa-aaaack.

For those that don't, the CCCorns Egg Cam is a web cam we run on our clutches through the season so that we can monitor them from work if need be and to let people watch hatching in progress. This is especially helpful for new breeders who may be able to be a little more patient when they realize how long it does take them to leave the eggs after pipping.

I have to apologize ahead of time for the fog that always forms on the lid and the occasional shut downs of the camera. We'll fix these things as we see them, but realize we are at work sometimes and can't get to it right away.

Anyway, enjoy the egg cam. We'll be posting sharp photos of the clutches here and there, as well, so you can see what is happening without the blur.

This is awesome! Now I have, yet another, link that I'll be addicted to watching. I won't have anything hatching until about June, so in the meantime I can get excited over watching someone else's clutches hatch.

Thanks.

Hurray! If I can't breed my own corn snakes, at least I still get to watch yours hatching!

Looks like most of the eggcam action will be Connie's clutches hatching this year. It seems that my females are all conspiring to lay at the same time, LOL! EGG'D! (But hey, if that's the biggest "problem" I have this year's breeding season then it'll still be a great year!)

I'm half-tempted to incubate them all at different temps from 70F to 85F just so they still hatch at different times...

Anyway I'll try to get some of the more interesting clutches in front of the eggcam this year when they are all hatching, I already have one clutch from the sun/lav group so there should be at least some fun.

Unless I am mistaken, the first of 23 little heads is starting to poke out. It could just be some of the substrate on the egg or a smudge on the lid, but I don't recall seeing it this morning. I'm looking at the egg right dead centre.
