Yeah I'm hoping it was a legitimate pip. I realized that I had just got my next clutch of the year from Brainy, and sat it on the shelf. Sometimes if you bump the eggbox (or similar) when they're close to hatching, it will make the babies jump and they will slice the egg with their egg tooth.
