Yeah, we'll see how those eyes turn out. They are all blue when they first open. Mom and Dad both have mostly brown eyes, so we'll see what the puppies end up with. Bubbles's sister, Faith, has two bright blue eyes.

Beautiful puppies! I am WAY over my cute factor for the day. I am going to have one of these beauties one day. Maybe when I don't have any kids and all my energy will be just for the dog.

Connie, I wanted to ask you (since I am sure you would know), is it true that when you cross a merle with a merle you could end up producing some deaf, even blind puppies? I don't recall where I heard that, and wanted it confirmed, or denied as the case may be.

Yes, you can end up producing whites, statistically 1/4 chances. Handling of these pups / breeding blue to blue litters can be a controversial topic that I'm not going to get into, but generally if produced, they are culled at birth.

Both pups are so adorable and mom is beautiful. I somehow missed this post until now and it is awesome to watch the progression of their growth.

Beautiful pups! Party is absolutely precious, do you think you'll still be keeping her? I absolutly LOVE the name Stryker. I was going to suggest Match. I guess that's kind of odd for a name though, I like Styker better!

I think I'm going to have some fun checking out your website!

(Freedom from the pups, hooray!)

(Boy, Jesse looks tough, doesn't he? LOL Grrrr.)
