Bubbles x Yukon

I'm pleased to announce that following fireworks on the 4th of July, Bubbles presented us with 2 big, fat, strong Aussie puppies.

The first is a blue merle female, nicknamed "Blue" for now.
Likely name will be Cedarcreeks Celebration, but will have to think on call names.

And here's little "Red", a red merle male.
Possible registered name will be Cedarcreeks Firecracker.

Theme for the litter's naming scheme is a no-brainer given the timing.
Here's to hoping the "4th of July" litter grows up healthy, smart, athletic, and pretty.

More photos and updates to come!

Congrats!!! I hope mom is enjoying her new role. Two pups is a small litter, but as long as they are healthy, that's great! Can't wait for progression pics as they grow up. Are you keeping either of them?

Yeah, the sire is getting old and we get quite a few smaller litters in the breed, but these guys are happy, healthy, and strong.

The blue female will be staying if she grows up as nice as she looks right now. If not, I have a pet home that is dying to have her. The red merle will likely be going to my good friend and co-breeder, who co-owns Bubbles with me and owns Bubble's other Faith, aunt Peyton, uncle Sid, and grandmother Emma.

Can't wait to see how they turn out!

Congrats! Such adorable, chubby babies.

I like the theme names, too. Call name for Celebration, Sally?

More pictures, please. It's already Day 2! They'll be graduating from puppy kindergarten before you know it.

Gonna have to work on photos. The gods seem to be against me for recording this litter as I have spent hours trying to get the egg cam to work on our new router without success (for puppy cam) and now my camera appears to be dying.

Hopefully will have a new one within a week.

In the meantime, I'll work on possible names...

Cedarcreeks Celebration could be:

Party
Spangle
Gala
Shindy
Fiesta
Spree

Sally is cute, but there's another fairly well known red tri named Mustang Sally, that I don't want any association with.

Hi Connie,

All your names are original. I'm sure you'll find one original for each depending on the temperament.

Congratulations again!
