The 2007 Breeding Season

The 2007 breeding season is on its way here at Corn Snakes Alive! The colony came up on February 15 and they have had two meals now. Everybody looks health, and I see many possibilities to produce several never before seen morphs this year, such as Ice/Lava Bloods, or maybe Striped Ice. Several triple het projects could pop out something such as a Topaz Motley.
Many new Ultramel morphs will be popping out as fast as rabbits in the coming years and 2007 will be speeding things up in that direction. I will isolated out a few Ultra Morphs this year which will be interesting. My pair of White Oak Gray Rats will be put to the test this year to see if they are Ultras. Wouldn’t that be BREAKING NEWS! Which side of the fence will you be on? What ever your opinion of Ultras are, from what I have seen in the last two years, they are ultra hardy, ultra colorful, and ultra morph makers. Ultramel Morphs will catch up to Corn Snake morphs in a very short time and soon be a fortune tellers crystal ball in to the future of new Corn Snake Morphs.
My Blood colony is coming of age and my male Pied-Sided het Amel, and male Hypo Lav Blood will be leading the way. Fires, Pewters, and Granites will be brewing as well. The Lav Bloods from 2006 were perhaps one of the most exciting new Corn Morph here at Corn Snakes Alive! You are not going to believe some of the Hypo Striped Lavs, Striped Lavs, and super Pink Lav Motleys that will be produced this year. The mixing and matching of the two lines is producing Morphs that rival Lav Bloods drool factor.
I will be much more active on the forum and with emails and my 2007 Price List will be coming soon with a Web Site after that that will grow throughout the year.

Wow Joe! Incredible year you should have! But then again, it seems I say that each year. Hope you will post a lot of these new babies. Will be great additions to our Morph section too.

Joe Pierce in the Chat Room

Who will be next to sit in that seat next week?

I wonder if I can finish a first draft of my 2007 Price List by then? I should post something in my forum. First drafts, are just that, which will be added to, and prices adjusted to reflect what I see 2007 values to be with each additional draft.

I think I need at least three drafts, before it will be ready for orders. My site will be built with it, so I need to get the third draft finished very soon. I have started my 2007 Price List and I will be organizing it in a new way.

When I think about Corn Snakes Mutants, I have begun to think of them in groups of pattern traits first, that we can combine with our color traits. Lets see what it looks like when I post the first draft.
