I just wish we were on the same side of the border....either side would be fine...
I think we could have some fun projects with our interest in emoryi/corn crosses.
Now that's not nice Jimmy, luring Mary south of the border. I like her just fine this side...the north side
Mary, those babies are amazing! Oh ya... Bet that smile is from ear to ear...huge congratulations on those hatchlings. What a giant leap forward for creamsicles here in Canada!
Guess you'll be clearing your shelves for more holdbacks...or...buy a bigger house. Perry just has to be lenient this year...you have some awesome babies which most definitely need lots of La Creme TLC.
So Mary...will I get to see them in Winnipeg on the 29th of September????
I saw this mentioned on another site...Tim Spuckler, the one who produced the male cream, brought it up and showed your picture of the bloodred rootbeer.
very nice.
I made a suggestion for a bloodred rootbeer...
Bloodroot?
what do you think?
I think it has a nice ring to it....lol

I love the bloodroot name - think that is what I will use as a label this year!! Very great. I like bloodorange because of the fruit, but wasn't keen on bloodbeer (eeeew!!) just couldn't think of anything at the moment - but bloodroot is great - another plant name.
I am glad to hear Tim has posted pics of these - don't know that I have ever seen any adults posted anywhere. He was great about getting back to me quickly when I enquired about the background on the male and it is good to know that the gene came from there.
I am especially thrilled because it means that I likely have several adult and subadult het bloods in my current breeding group. It is really nice to have the offspring that are from the emoryi parent, but also some from striped and cinnamon lines - I have tended to keep back those that show the side diffusion and weird belly patterns.
I really do wish it was easier to get these guys accross the border - there are so few people working with creamsicle lines and incorporating other cornsnake genes that it would be great to share. I am sure grateful to Tim (ThirdEyeHerp) for the breeding stock I have started my creamsicle lines with - they are outstanding animals and the genetics are proving to be a lot of fun from them.

Ruth
These little guys are eating already - I offered a few preshed and they are not hesitating - several have their mommy's aggressive temperament too - so I will have them with me for the Red Deer show. Not sure yet whether I will be in Winnipeg in September - guess it will depend on how much I have left to sell.
I am definitely going to need plenty of room for holdbacks now!!

I will be sorting and doing final sexing when they have shed and fed - hope to get individual pics up soon. I am not sure if I will be parting with any of the ones that look to be full diffused, but if there is an extra male I will let you know. The diffusion is stronger on the bloodroots than the bloodoranges - but will have a better idea once they are shed out.
thanks for your interest and I will keep you informed,
