After reading the last thread about a missing corn. I would like everyone to share their missing corn stories.

I will start,

In October 2003 I picked up a Normal Yearling for my wife from a local breeder. I had never had any interest in snakes but I figured if one was going to be in the house I should "make" him a cool enclosure. Well I made him a viv that was 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide, 3 feet deep with probably about 7 shelves in it. It was escape proof (Ya Right, lol). The snake lived there for about a week, then was gone. He was gone for six days then at 3am my wife was going to get a bottle for my daughter and who was crossing the kitchen but .....The Snake . Not knowing (me neither) she put him back in his viv, and was very happy to have found her snake. I came home about 2 hours later at 5am and he was gone again!!! 15 days had passed and I figured the snake was gone for good. I was painting the bathroom, just above the tub so I was standing on the edge. When I went to step down about 8 inches of him was sticking out the tub drain just staring at me. When I bent down to get him he pulled himself back in till just his head was out. I got everyone out of the bathroom and put a live pink at the other end of the tub and shut off the lights. 2 minutes later I went back in and he was all the way out at the other end eating his pinky. well after that day we named him Houdini and he has never escaped again...... I made sure of it!!!

Now please share your stories, It could give people hope that have lost snakes or who will lose their snake.
