Well usually I never buy animals from the local pet stores. I have no problem with buying supplies but some of the worst misinformation I have ever heard on just about any animal subject usually comes blathering out of their mouths and I just do not have the patience for it. At least that is the way it is around here. So I do not support them on this because I want them to stop selling animals that they do not know how to care for and maintain. On a VERY RARE occasion I will break my own rule. Today is one of those days.
I found this guy in a 2-1/2gal. tank along with an albino and a normal corn. The labels on the tank were albino, normal, ghost and white-sided yellow rat snake. They sold this guy to me as a ghost and only charged me $20.00 for him(I think it a him but I will check it later). The thing is, I am not sure what this guy really is and I have never seen a ghost that looks like this. Does anyone want to take a stab at telling me what they think this guy is? It would be greatly appreciated as he is so unusual that I felt compelled to spring him from the pokey.

It seems with all the diffusion and the head that there might be blood in this snake? Or maybe some king of hybrid? His personality is great and he is very friendly and not like a yellow rat at all. The salesperson insisted that there were no more white-sides in the tank. But the yellowish color on the back? Help a poor girl out and see if you can tell me what you think this is.
