First question I have is not really a snake problem more of a people problem. Did any's partner/spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend have a fear of snakes when they got into snakes? If they did, did they ever got over the fear? My husband is in Iraq right now and is supportive of the massive snake collection that is taking place in his home but, he is scared to death of them. He will fight a war, but scared the vicious corn snake will eat him. My second question is I would love to start breeding corn snakes but i have had a rough first couple months. I think murphies law is getting me. I have had one escape and I think that the one snake I bought at the pet store is probably not going to make it. I guess this question is for the breeders. Did you start with hatchlings and raise them? Did you buy mature breeding pairs? How many did you start out with? Last but not least are corn snakes and breeding a learn as you go thing or you had better crawl before you walk? Do I need to stick with my hatchlings that seem to be a handful right now and just learn from them first? I guess I am asking everyone's opinion because I have a wonderful knowledgable breeder close by and we have become friends and she thinks that I can manage a breeding program. She says it's normal to have the problems I am having. Any input would be wonderful. I searched for other threads and couldn't find what I was looking for. THANKS AGAIN!
