Identification Please

Yesterday, we purchased a second-hand reptile tank 6 x 2 x 2 feet tank and as a "bonus" there was a 10 year old cornsnake thrown in.

The original owner was out of province and had her friends taking care of it for the last year. The friends kept it in the tank in an unfinished basement, with one very small heat rock and a water dish that was an old ashtray for the last year. The tank was filled with feces and old shed. Very little was known about the snake except for its age. Sex, where it was from or type all unknown.

When it arrived in the door I took the corn out of the travel container. Noticed that there was a lot of excess sparse shed so I put him in a bin for a 20 minutes to soak.

After the soak was over I took the corn out and while inspecting it for scars (they fed only live over the 10 years) I could hear the corn wheezing…(~ohh Wonderful!) Found a room to put it in, with no others and before shutting the lid figured it should be sexed and weight it. He is a "he" and is ~445 g.

I have included some pictures (kind'a dark) and I was hoping you can give me a confirmation what he is.

I figure it is a Miami, but I am no expert so I am hoping for some identification.

Thanks, in advance,

Denise
