Progression Shoot - Amethyst 2006 Lavender.

Ok, I've always wanted to post a short progression of some of my favorite critters, but until recently I didn't have a decent camera and don't have many pictures of my older snakes when they were young. I have remedied that, with the help of the hubby, since we got the new digital and have taken to snapping pictures of a few favorites every time they look cute (which is every couple of days sometimes lol)

Amethyst, my favorite lavender right now, has such a cool zig-zaggy pattern and has gone through some amazing color changes in the 4-6 months we've had her. When we first got her she weighed under 10g and at her last weigh in she was pushin' 40g - so she's done a quite a bit of growing in the time we've had her.

Here she is the day we brought her home looking quite dull and very dark brown:

She's shed a couple more times since those last photos, but I haven't yet uploaded all of the images and will add more to this thread once I get them cleaned up.
