I just wanted to start with a progression thread. My corn, José is an '07 Classic Motley that I purchased from a local herp store/breeder on June 7th, 2008.
September 15th, 2008.
There aren't any full body shots, because it was a little chilly outside. So, there's a few headshots, but you can see how much he's grown already! (I also love how his eyes look in the sun! They almost look like Retic eyes to me.)
He is 22.2" and 38 grams now.
Also, I wanted to note this: although it may look like it, I didn't alter the colors or anything like that in the pictures. That's his natural color in the sun! Isn't that cool?
Sorry about the lateness - i've been a little busy, and haven't had time to update.
This is José as of October 11th. (and the last feeding photo was on October 20th.) He weighed in at 55 grams and was 26" in length.
These pictures were taken the same day that he shed, and there was a couple of spots that didn't come off - they were taken off when I noticed them during the photoshoot. (you can see it in the first picture on his tail - I wish I had gotten it off before the picture!)
He loves eating his mice backwards. It's pretty much the only way he'll eat them now. It's cute when it gets to this point, because it looks like he's smiling. (Plus, I love how his yellows look in this picture.)
I'm expecting another shed soon, so i'll be updating again soon.
