Here are a few pictures from the show. I heard the Saturday turnout was a little over 1100 people (in past years, they averaged 1400 for both Saturday and Sunday combined). This was definitely the best Edmonton show I've attended and one of the best shows overall that I've been too.

And her male counterpart:

All in all: a very awesome show and one that sparked a new addiction in my life: Suriname Red Tails! I love them!

I bought a pair of Suriname Red Tail Boas...they are awesome and I can't stop looking at them. As far as handling goes, they seem to be the exact opposite of a corn snake. I can place them on my lap and they just sit there. I wish I had a corn that would just sit there nicely and not try to escape at every opportunity.

Very fun animals...

Nice boas Matt! Looks like the show was biz-ay. Thank you again for bringing up the lavender for me. She was fed last night, took two small pinkies like a little savage. After watching her eat, Steve is not nearly as worried about her size any more. I will post pics once I am able. And she is so sweet by the way. I can't wait to see how she turns out!

I'm glad you guys are enjoying her, Von. I love that little girl and I'm happy to see she went to someone like you. I could not have found a better home for her. And I'm glad she is still nice and easy to handle; she definitely got more than her fair share of handling in our place.

The show was constantly busy and the only noticeable lull in traffic was at lunch time on Saturday (it was a very welcomed 30 minute break from the insane morning). I had a great time and I am already looking forward to next year's show.
