I am so pleased to announce that on November 18th, 2007, Grant Crossman, Reptiles Canada and many sponsors will be opening the doors to what will be a first in Canada, the Ontario Reptiles and Aquatics Expo.
Grant's success as a promoter of the reptile hobby here in Ontario is well known throughout our country. As a vendor, I appreciate all the hard work and effort that goes into the preparation for each Expo we attend, but this news of combining the world of reptile hobbyists with those who's interests are of an aquatic nature, is truly an accomplishment Grant and his team can be proud of.
Without further ado...here's all the information. Please NOTE...there is a change of venue to a larger facility to accomodate this amalgamated Expo...please look over the link provided carefully so you don't head to the old venue by mistake. The new address is
6435 Dixie Road
Mississauga ON
Here's a link direct to the Expo website with all the information, directions, and vendor information.
P.S. A larger venue means more space for vendors. Anyone wishing to participate as a vendor should contact Grant thru the official Expo website. I do know spaces are filling quickly, so I do suggest making contact sooner rather than later... Our friends from south of the border are more than welcome...in fact at one of the Mississauga shows lately we had the pleasure of meeting some great folks from Buffalo!
Just thought I would update this thread with a vendor list...we are booked solid!
This show will be the biggest and 'bestest' yet!!!!!
And to those of you in upstate New York and Michigan who may be planning on attending...I know I'm not the only vendor who will be accepting the U.S. $$$$ at par. C'mon up and enjoy the day!

I am planning on going if there will be a supplier with t-rex substrates (such as desert snow) Christine(a?) aka EEEK Snakes mentioned that you can get supplies at the shows. I want the family to go as well (trying to talk the hubby into another snake! he he he). So I just want to make sure there will be suppliers since that is the excuse I am using to go . Thanx.
Also, (i'm sure you can't but...) Can you take your snake with you, in the hopes of getting it sexed?

There's EVERYTHING there...supplies galore, so don't worry 'bout that...your excuse will fly....
You will have to make arrangements with the vendor if you want to bring in a snake. You will first need to go into the show (minus snake) and let the vendor know you have arrived. Then the vendor will have to accompany you and your snake back inside for the sexing. These rules were set up because in the past some folks were spotted and removed because, without paying for tables, they were selling snakes right out of the pillow cases they brought them into the Expo in. Protects both the paid vendors and you, the customer from having to deal with those not authorized to be selling.
Hopefully I will be able to make it to this show as well, the september show was awesome. Anybody recommend a good temp gun I can pick up at the show if I make it?

There's usually someone there with temp guns, not sure what brand.
Personally, I bought mine from Princess Auto, pretty cheap and works awesome.
And YUP, lots of supplies there. Zoomed will be there and they carry lots of substrates, as well as other vendors.
Stop by and introduce yourselves, it's always nice to put faces to user names
i would like to go as well, but can not afford the gas, have a fun time and try to convince them to have one during the xmas holidays (when i am in the area )
Enjoy (I know you will)
