If "big steaming pile of AWESOME" isn't copyrighted, do ya mind if I steal it?

Perhaps most of the good stuff was gone already though as I could only make it out on the last day???

The drive was GORGEOUS and considering it was three hours each way, it really went quite quickly, even in the rain, Washington is ALMOST as wonderful as BC lol

Anywho, I picked up 7 silver queens, 4 aneries, 2 normals, 15 assorted leopard geckos, a VERY cool Leopard gecko book and a temp gun!

I really found there weren't many good deals on nice corns there. There were a few nice ultramels, but I guess people just aren't that into fancy morphs in that area.

I was surprised and sad to hear a few of the vendors who seemed to have different information that what is most commonly considered correct too... For instance a leo breeder telling someone who asked the lifespan of a leopard gecko that they usually only live about 10 years, a ball python breeder telling a woman that it would be "very rare" for a female ball to get over 4 feet, and that most often a female ball can breed by 2 years. There were also some corns there that were marked as some rare pattern <so rare I can't remember what they had it marked as> and I believe they were just aztecs or the like. However noone could blame the vendors as these snakes weren't even their own and they were just selling them for a friend

On the upside the number of cool bugs was FANTASTIC! The turle displays and big tubs were GREAT! Of course there were MANY fantastic hobbyists around too!

I was shocked at the lack of ball pythons there as well?!? There were many abound up in the Red Deer show, with mohaves, albinos, pieds, pastels, spiders, platys, pinstripes etc. While at this show there were two or three not so high quality pastels, about 3 albinos, and a few normals?!? Where are all the ball pythons??! Must be crowded around that darn Daytona show.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH WHEN WILL I GET THERE?!?!

Well, thanks for letting us know about this show! It was worth going to for a look see at any rate!

Rebecca

I have to say that it seemes to be getting smaller and smaller. Three years ago the place was packed with vendors and shoppers, you get could almost anything that would breed in captivity. EBV came up from the Bay Area and had a big booth. They haven't been up the last couple years and I was honestly surprised by this year's lack of corns. There have been high end morphs there before, this time was kinda sad. I have my eye on a table for next year, maybe split it with someone or a couple people. At least one rotten vendor wasn't there, so I was happy about that.

Now "THAT ONE" I get.

To answer your statement.....it's because the PH carried a terrible BA by only getting one AB per game. Oddly, odds increased for a better AVG in the long run.
