What about the West Coast????

I know most everybody seems to be on the other side of the world from here, but I know some ppl are in Cali... anyone planning on going to San Jose or Sacramento? I don't know if we'll be able to go as yet, but sure could use some new additions later this summer, especially if plan still in progress go well.

I'll probably be at Sacramento - as a buyer, not vendor.
I believe the San Jose show has been canceled this year due to increased cost of the location, but I'm not positive.

Well the problem with the SJ show is that it's held in November when there is not much left to sell. I still have never made it to the Sac show. When is it?

It's Sept 13 & 14 this year.
I'll probably only be there for the 13th.

I should be clearer - it's the upscale reptiles San Jose show that has been canceled. And I heard that second hand, but I haven't found any evidence to the contrary.

There seems to be another San Jose show -

San Jose Reptile Show

That's not upscale reptiles - and it's in August.

You have one show in San Diego at the end of June, and the Anahiem show in Sept.. If there was one in Lost Wages I would go there... Not worth my time driving outside of So Cal looking for reptile shows.. Heavens knows I have enough animals already..

The San Jose show has officially been cancelled. According to the vendor letter I received, they are looking to add two new shows at as-of-yet-undisclosed locations in Northern California in 2009. I am planning on having a table at Sacramento and also the weekend prior in Anaheim.

I was so sad to hear the San Jose show was cancelled! I really liked the November timeline - I usually still have lots of geckos then.

This year, I will be vending (geckos) at the Super Show in San Diego in June, the new San Jose show in August and in Anaheim in early Sept. I hope to see lots of you at all the shows!!

I didn't even know about the one in November, I was referring to the one in August. I'm hoping to talk hubby into going to at least one. I'm thinking he'll probably agree to at least Anaheim since it's close, but his family is all around Merced/Modesto, so any excuse for a trip to Cali....lol....Not sure if I'll be buying anything, but I'd love to just go and see what's out there and talk to people...especially since I'm still kinda new and all.As far as breeding & business stuff, I can't even think of a name yet....lol... hubby said the one I came up with was too long*sighs*, so I haven't even registered with ACR cuz I don't want to have to change everything later..and I need better pix of everyone...
but plz keep me posted, I'd love to meet anyone that will be going....
