What exactly are the "old way" and "new way"?

If you're using a Photobucket link, you should be doing something like this:

The only ways I can think of that wouldn't work would be:

1) using HTML like this, which won't work since HTML isn't allowed in most of the forum:
<img src="http://whateverthepicture'slinkis.photobucket.com/image.jpg">
2) or you tried using the method, which only works if you're using a picture attached to the forum itself (and not hosted on a separate site like Photobucket).

Well if you're going to use a link from Photobucket, you simply copy the code from the box that says "IMG Code" as shown here:

Name: imgcode.JPG
Views: 61
Size: 16.5 KB

Then, just paste it into your post. It'll look like this:

Then just submit the post and that should be it.

Okay well I noticed you had the http:// part of the image URL in there twice. The last post you made in this thread had the image linked as this:
http://http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w175/dadeedasinginintherain/zoo/pet028.jpg

Get rid of the first http:// and it should work.
