Chat Problems

Am I the only one experiencing chat problems? I still cannot log into TS chat at all via the button in the Chestnut skin (which I don't use) or the direct link in my address bar. When I click it takes me to a cream colored blank page and that's it.

I'm on a brand new system, new install of Firefox and Java. Everything has the most current updates installed.

I've fiddled with all the settings of Java and Firefox I can without royally screwing it up, but still nothing. I've not had Java problems anywhere else. I used to be able to log into the chat without a problem, but all of a sudden a month or two ago something changed and I couldn't log in.

I can log in using IE or Opera, but I hate to have to go that route just to chat. CCChat works just fine, and this used to, so I'm not sure what's changed exactly.

I guess no one wants to talk to me.

Hey MIsty,

I don't think anything change on my side. If it was working well before you changed the system and now it don't, this is probably system related but I don't know a lot about PCs. Maybe someone with more knowledge could help you. Really sorry. Do you have a pop up blocker? Maybe this is why? I will check on my side too.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head above. It sounds like a firefox issue, since you can log in with IE. Something with the chat is not compatible with firefox.

That said, I can't help you, as I don't know about Firefox. I'm an IE user. Hopefully someone using FF can let you know what they had to do.

I use Firefox but I am on Mac.

I use Firefox and run the normal Windows based Pc. Never any problems on my end.

I get this message..

Access Denied. Please enter a valid member name and password.

Even when I am logged in here or attempt to log in on the chat.. *shruggs and LOL*

I already stated that you can't enter in the chatroom if your user ID contain spaces.

I need to change your ID for something like TandJ. Just send me a pm if you want me to change it.
