converting to aspen
I'm changing substrates. Previosly I used a combination of reptibark and shpagnan (don't mind the spelling) moss. I lightly misted the combination and cooked it for long periods of time to sterilze. From what I've been reading aspen seems to be the substrate of choice so I'm going to give it a try.
Can anyone please give some tips on sterilizing or cleaning prior to use? (Or could I be overthinking this.) Please let me know ASAP. I'm getting a full grown male anery (He's huge) this Sunday at the Winnipeg reptile expo and this is my last detail before I'm ready to recieve him. I have a few good ideas on how to clean the aspen but a few other opinions never hurt. |
