Shedding Skeleton?

Well, my snake completed his first shed.

At least, I'm pretty sure.

His scales became milky and cloudy, and his eyes were practically this bright blue, far contradictory to his standard deep brown colour.

This morning, he was good as new. Silky, shiny, sparkly, whatever other adjective can be to described. His eyes were back to their beautiful brown, and I entirely assumed that he'd shed because of all of that.

The question was: Where was the skeleton?

I was sure that there would be some Stevo-sized scale replica going around, somewhere, but there wasn't at all. I double-checked Stevo, and there's absolutely no way that he could still be in shed. He is entirely clear of any old skin, and it might actually be starting to worry me about whether the skeleton just...disappeared or dissolved or...I feel like an idiot for not knowing, so could somebody explain it to me?

Thanks, and I always appreciate your help,
~Em
